The Fingersonic Keys uses two knobs to control sound, volume, effects, and performance functions. Here is the simplest explanation of what each knob does.

 


 

Left Knob (Expression Controls)

 

Octave Adjustment

Rotate the knob to change the octave.

Clockwise = higher

Counterclockwise = lower

Range: –2 to +3 octaves

 

Transposition

Press the knob once to enter Transposition Mode.

Rotate to shift pitch by semitones.

Clockwise = up

Counterclockwise = down

Range: –6 to +6 semitones

Press again to exit.


 

Reverb

Press and hold the knob, then rotate to set reverb level.

Clockwise = more reverb

Counterclockwise = less reverb

 

Pitch Bend

Hold a key and rotate the knob to bend the pitch in real time.

 


 

 

Right Knob (Sound and Volume Controls)

Sound Switching

Rotate the knob to change sound presets.

Clockwise = next sound

Counterclockwise = previous sound

 

Volume Adjustment

Press the knob once to enter Volume Mode.

Rotate to adjust volume.

Clockwise = louder

Counterclockwise = quieter

Press again to return to sound switching.

 

MIDI Keyboard Mode

Press and hold the right knob for 3 seconds.

The speaker turns off, but USB MIDI and Bluetooth MIDI remain active.
