FAQ

How long does the built-in battery last?

Fingersonic Keys offers up to 6 hours of standby time on a full charge.

During continuous play or constant LED mode, the battery life will naturally be shorter.

How long does it take to fully charge?

A full charge takes around 2–2.5 hours using a 5V / 1.5A Type-C charger.

Fingersonic Keys supports play-while-charging via USB Type-C — perfect for studio sessions or long practice times.

Is the built-in speaker loud enough?

The built-in 3W speaker is powerful enough for solo practice at home.

If you need more volume for performance or recording, you can easily connect external speakers or headphones via the 3.5mm stereo jack.

Do I have to use the Fingersonic App to burn my own sounds?

You can download community tones from the Fingersonic App and burn them directly to the device.

Advanced users can create custom SF2 soundfonts on their computer and upload them via the Fingersonic Uploader.

How do I connect Fingersonic Keys to a DAW via Bluetooth?

The connection method depends on your device:

On Mobile DAWs (iOS / Android)

Most mobile DAWs allow you to connect directly inside the app.

Just open the DAW → go to MIDI settings → select Fingersonic_Keys (BLE MIDI).

On Mac

You need to connect through the system tool Audio MIDI Setup:

Open Audio MIDI Setup

Go to MIDI Studio → Bluetooth

Find Fingersonic Keys and click Connect

Then open your DAW and choose it as your MIDI input
